«A Journey into the World of Inventions»: an educational livestream for young researchers

Participants of the livestream embarked on an exciting journey through time: from the inventions that shaped history and improved human life to the innovations of the 21st century and the concept of the Metaverse.

Together with IP Academy speakers, students explored how ideas are born, how they transform into inventions, and why creativity is the driving force of progress. Special attention was given to the following questions:

• What connects major discoveries of past centuries with modern technologies?
• How does the patenting system work?
• Why does intellectual property play a key role in the development of science and technology?
• What opportunities does the Metaverse open for future inventors?

During the livestream, young researchers:

• discovered remarkable inventions that expanded humanity’s capabilities;
• learned incredible facts and examples of patents that inspire personal exploration;
• got acquainted with technologies of the future;
• took part in an interactive discussion, reflecting on what an invention for the Metaverse might look like.
