The project «IP Connecting Students» aims to open new horizons for the student community in the world of intellectual property, highlight modern development trends, and teach participants to value creativity and properly protect the results of intellectual and creative activity in any field of life.
What will the lectures cover?
The new season «IP Connecting Students 3.0» is dedicated to intellectual property in the field of sport.
During the lectures, we will discuss the role intellectual property plays behind the scenes of major sports events, broadcasts, brands, and technologies that shape the modern sports industry.
In particular, we will explore:
- how technological developments and sports equipment are protected;
- how the value of sports brands is created;
- why an athlete’s name can become a powerful commercial asset;
- how innovative solutions are transforming modern sport.
We will also examine real examples from the world of professional sport to demonstrate that intellectual property is a practical tool that influences the development of the sports industry, competition, and new career opportunities.

- representatives of educational institutions who seek to integrate modern topics into the educational process;
- members of student communities interested in sport, media, creative industries, startups, and personal brand development.

How to join?
If you are a lecturer, group mentor, group leader, or an active student — register your group, and we will conduct a lecture on the selected topic specifically for you.
To organize thematic online lectures:
- a representative of an educational institution or a student community should fill out an application form. The application can be submitted HERE;
- wait for feedback to coordinate all details and schedule the meeting.
This way, each group can choose the topic that best matches its interests and receive a meaningful session in a convenient format.
How to receive a participant certificate?
Every student participating in the project has the opportunity to receive a certificate.
To obtain it, participants must:
- attend the event and complete registration via a special form;
- the registration form for participants will be provided to the representative of the educational institution or student community after all details are coordinated with the organizers.
Please note: lectures are planned for organized student groups exclusively during working hours from 8:30 to 17:00 (Monday–Friday).
