From March to May 2026, the project featured a series of thematic online lectures for students dedicated to the role of intellectual property in sport, sports brands, broadcasting, and innovative technologies.
During the lectures, participants discussed the role intellectual property plays behind the scenes of major sports events, how sports technologies and equipment are protected, and why an athlete’s personal brand can become a valuable commercial asset.
More than 150 students from 8 Ukrainian universities joined the season between March and May.
As part of the project, a series of online lectures was held on the following topics:
- Intellectual Property at Full Throttle: Inside the World of Formula 1.
- Intellectual Property in Sports: Every Detail Has Its Creator.
- Intellectual Property in Sports: Every Detail Has Its Creator.
- The Athlete’s Personal Brand: Turning Reputation into Opportunity.
Participants included students from:
- Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;
- Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Security of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management;
- State University of Information and Communication Technologies;
- Bukovinian State Medical University;
- Prydniprovska State Academy of Physical Culture and Sport;
- Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies Lviv.
As part of the season, offline lectures were also delivered to first-year students of the Department of Intellectual Property and Civil Law Disciplines at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy.
