During the event, we will discuss:
- the evolution of legislation in the field of intellectual property and pharmaceuticals in the context of the development of the EU pharmaceutical industry;
- the main tools and mechanisms for protecting intellectual property rights in the pharmaceutical sector of the European Union;
- key trends in the reform of EU intellectual property legislation — in particular, the new «pharmaceutical package»;
- how the EU balances the protection of intellectual property rights, the promotion of generic production, and access to medicines.
