Training Course on Professional Upgrade: Intellectual Property for Educators

Participation in the training course is free of charge
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- understand the basics of intellectual property and its significance in the educational process, including conditions for legal protection of creative outputs;
- identify the rights and responsibilities of educational process participants regarding intellectual property results (teachers, students, educational institutions), as well as principles of interaction between authors, co-authors, and other participants;
- apply rules for lawful use of educational content, including licenses and licensing agreements, as well as rules for using works in the public domain;
- develop skills in proper citation in the educational process, respecting limitations on the amount cited and ensuring correct attribution to avoid plagiarism;
- identify different types of intellectual property objects, such as literary, musical, audiovisual works, photographs, and others, and ensure their legal protection;
- recognize intellectual property violations in digital environments and create and use content on social media, blogs, and educational channels in compliance with Ukrainian law;
- explain legal and ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence to create content, including questions of authorship for AI-generated works.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- join 4 online sessions led by experienced experts;
- ask questions to UANIPIO experts;
- gain practical skills through interactive sessions and workshops;
- obtain a certificate – by attending at least 80% of training sessions and actively participating;
- access recordings and accompanying course materials.
